Linux or Unix certifications
Question #1: Is there a Linux or Unix certification that is comparable to a
CNA or a MCP. For example, If a person took the 3 Unix classes at GRCC
(Unix Intro, Unix scripting, Unix Administration) what Unix certification might
they be prepared to take. I may need a certification that is administrative and
not engineering like a CNE.
Question #2: What would be the most useful certification to have?
The purpose for these questions is that I may have an opportunity to substitute
the CNA or MCP classes at Davenport college IF I can find a comparable
certification test that is available for Unix/Linux. This substitution would
also allow me to be able to take 3 Oracle database classes because of
scheduling and class load reasons.
