Boogies Cybercafe Problem with Starcraft

We are currently trying to install the game Starcraft at Boogies 
Cybercafe.  We are running it under WINE, using the directions 
at http://www.linuxgames.com/starcraft.shtml

Starcraft seems to work great except for one big snafu.  When 
the player tries to use network mode (called Battle.net) the 
whole thing locks up tighter than a drum.  We actually had to 
kill the x server it was running on, and we still had problems.  
So far I have not had any luck finding any documentation on 
using starcraft in linux with battle.net - save to say that 
there were multiple messages on slashdot saying that it could 
not be done.  Anyone out there have any experience with this 
sort of thing?  I'm still searching of course, but if someone 
knows of a quick fix or anything let me know.  It would also be 
acceptable if we just dumped the whole battle.net thing, but we 
don't know how to do that either :)  Any help would be 
appreciated.
