Too much truth here to edit the quoting. I thought I was
joining a linux mailing list only to find a constitutionalism
thead taking off :)

Actually the corporatism of our society has be growing in the
conventional wisdom for a long time. People know they are
getting screwed but still feel they have to go with the
program. Health insurance is the prime example of the "deal
they can't refuse" ways of corporate rule of society Media is
full of senarios of what could happen. Really paroniod types
will tell you that the corps just let this stuff out for
reactions, monitoring for feedback to help their stategies.

So now we have people throwing a lot of packets at big sites
to paralize them. The corporates that own the sites are
saying it will just take time to be able to filter the garbage
but already know that people will figure ways of fooling the
filters.

So now we have the lackies of the corps, the legislatures,
argueing about what to do. The executive branch has been
spewing resolves to end this sort of thing.. this computer
crime thing is getting very volitile. policy/law/crime
creation will proceed quickly. Intent is the thing they will
hang their hat on. Even if you think about ways to fool the
garbage filters you will be a criminal as soon as you write
aline of code or make send one garbage packet. Even taking
about it like this will be a crime, for the good of the good
ship amerika. We are a Republic but a defacto Admiralty
juridiction because of a distracted populace. heck, I mised
90210 this week.

Soory for the off topic rant. I don't even know all the facts
about the software copyright. Thing I am too busy writing web
code to really read oll of it. The computer info glut is
their best weapon yet. The evidence has always been there
buried under stuff like OJ and Clinton's cigar. Mote computer
users don't even know how check attachments to their email. I
am not sure what the answer is. I have always been rather
pessimistic about the corporatism issue.
