Motions to vote on from the 1/25/98 KLUG Meeting

The time has come to decide on how many members we need to have at a meeting
in order to make any decisions. On one hand, we don't want a small number of
people making decisions that affect the entire group, on the other, it is
impractical to expect everyone to attend every meeting. We must compromise.

Listed below are two motions presented by members of the group at last
Sunday's meeting (1/25/98). Please vote for the one that you prefer, and send
it to my e-mail address (Eagle@Mail.Tds.Net). At the end of the week I will
tally the votes, and present them at the Sunday (2/1/98) KLUG meeting.

Motion #1. - In order to make any group wide decisions during a meeting, at
least 7 people must be in attendance, and each of these 7 people must have
been to at least 3 meetings before.

Motion #2. - In order to make any group wide decisions during a meeting, at
least 7 people must be in attendance. In this motion attendance to prior
meetings is not required.
