I have "Advanced Programming in the UNIX Environment" by Stevens, and
it is a GREAT book. I'd like his other books but they are a little on the
pricey side. Linux journal just did a three part series on Network
Programming, with examples, so that is something to look into. I've also
attached a tar file of example programs I used years ago to learn sockets.
