Re: CD-R(W) recommendations?

I agree completely. I did a lot of research reading
Dejanews before I bought my CD-RW drive, and almost
everyone was happy with those two brands.

I purchased a Yamaha 4260 SCSI and I love it.
It reads at 6X, writes at 4X and can write CD-RW
(rewritable media) at 2X.

I do most of my CD writing in Linux, but the drive
is supported in Windoze too.

BTW, I am the creator of a Redhat-like distribution
for KLUG using my Yamaha 4260 drive.
See http://klug.armintl.com/bsware/ for more info.

That seems to be the consensus from Dejanews as far
as I could tell too.
