Re: hardware question
If the board is in fact a VIA board he should get the latest VIA patch at:
http://www.via.com.tw/drivers/ In the past there were four patches you
needed to download but now they include them all in one package that neatly
installs.
I agree with the others though, sounds more like a video card driver and I
also recommend the NVidia reference drivers over the Diamond ones.
