Chairman

Requires no technical skill whatsoever

The chairman is the overall leader of the group, and as such directs the 
general progress of the organization:

1. Builds consensus on overall goals and direction of KLUG.

2. Provides overall guidance and coordination to Director on the actions needed
   to achieve agreed upon goals.

3. Ensures that all volunteers have the resources required, and are moving 
   towards the common goals.

4. Recommends replacement volunteers when and if necessary, due to lapses,
   absence, nonperformance, etc.

5. Presides over meetings, with the assistance from the Recording Secretary.

6. Troubleshoot any organizational problems as they arise.

The Chairman is very much advised to help define new opportunities for KLUG 
activity and delegate tasks in order to broaden and expand the number of
people active in the service of the Free Software movement in general, and
KLUG in particular.
