Recording Secretary =================== Position filled by Election Requires little or no technical skill Duties include taking notes at meetings and distributing the minutes to all members of the mailing list, and keeping track of any agenda items other than the technical presentation. 1. Meeting minutes are to be distributed in a timely fashion, within 4 days of the meeting itself. 2. Any comments directed to the group as a whole, or the Recording Secretary are to be made available at the next meeting, and can be read and commented on by those present. 3. Agenda items are to be arranged and brought up at the next meeting; if the matter appears (in the judgment of the Recording Secretary) to be a voting matter, it can also be brought up when a Quorum is present. 4. In the absence of any other officers or meeting chair, the Recording Secretary shall conduct meetings. 5. Define other duties for the Recording Secretary position, as seen fit according to agreement with other KLUG officers. The Recording Secretary may designate others to temporarily perform one or more of the functions listed above.
