I'm just proposing a task list to help us get this organized and up and
running. This is just an informal proposal, feel free to dissect,
etc...

If someone/somepeople want to volunteer for one/each/any of the
following -

1. Get gnugk (the gatekeeper) running? Do we need a gatekeeper if we
have a direct public interface [eth1 in this case, the driftwood IP].
I've tried building gnugk and didn't get anywhere. Optimally I'd like
it too have LDAP support built in.

2. Create dynamic IAX extensions. How does asterisk locate "me" if my
IP changes around, gnophone has to register, but register with what?
Does it use a gatekeeper for this?

3. Make MP3 encoding work. Currently it is just recording voice mails
as WAVs, which isn't very effiecient.

4. Setup conference calling support.

5. Define a dialplan [I think I almost understand this now after reading
the book].

Anything else?
