I am getting a couple of distros to that school principal today.  I
figured Caldera 3.1 and RedHat7.2 (I didn't download 7.3 yet).  That
way, if RedHat doesn't work, I know that the lizard on Caldera will find
all of his hardware.

He has to be comfortable in running this (which he is very willing to
try this out) before committing to the move.  This move is a major
step.  If this fails, they will only run Linux on the servers.  But, if
Linux proves to be a stable desktop, then they will actually TEACH their
computer classes on this platform.  OpenOffice instead of MSOffice, Gimp
instead of Photoshop....
