Edu-crats can be VERY territorial.  I don't know any of the 
administrator's involved,  but I'll understand if some of the meetings are 
for education people only.  

I'm cool with adapting to political realities,  I'll just lounge on my 
porch and drink lemonade while you guys hash it out. :)
