IT Dept rundown:
Me, 21 yrs old. 2 yrs paid experince at BPS, with 2 yrs ``student labor''.
I consider myself fairly well versed in linux and master at windows 9x.
However I don't know much about win2k or windows domain server.
JD, less then 1 yr experence, contractor. Jay can do novell4 stuff with
some proficency, but knows nothing about linux
Dale Beeney, 1yr IT staff exp., 2yrs Computer Teacher exp. On his
second year they hired him as Tech Dept as well as Teacher. Beeney can
trouble shoot printers, mice, cables, that kind of thing. Tech Dept is not
really his main job here.
Kris Kehrer, less then 1yr paid, 2 to 3 yrs ``student labor''. Kris
graduated the year before I did, but he was one of the ``cisco'' kids who
put in the network. Kris is an employee of JD. Kris runs Linux on his
Powermac laptop [g3] at home, but has yet to compile more then one
program.

I wasn't really asked about the servers before they were purchased, were
it up to me, I would have bought them this summer [as we did] then spent
the next school year transitioning. At this point in the summer, with all
the unrealated problems we are having, like the Middle School router and
hubs being totally wiped out by power spikes and some of the HS looking
like it is going to go as well, we might still run Novell this year.
